Michael A Potts was born and raised in Virginia. A retired US Air Force Military Service Veteran and an independent gospel artist, he served for over 20 years (Georgia, Germany, Texas, Italy, South Carolina, Saudi Arabia, Pentagon and Iraq).

“What A Friend” is a powerful arrangement of a favorite hymn of the church entitled “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”. The arrangement features the rich vocal tones of gospel recording artist and preacher Bishop Bruce V. Parham.
