Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago Top Gospel Airplay Chart With ‘He’ll Make It Alright’

Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago’s “He’ll Make It Alright” rises 2-1 on Billboard‘s Gospel Airplay Chart (dated Feb. 27).
The song, which Jenkins wrote solo, becomes the fourth No. 1 for the act, among eight top 10s.
The group last led Gospel Airplay with “Grace,” featuring Le’Andria, for four weeks beginning in December 2017. It’s first entry, “Awesome,” became its first No. 1, for 16 frames starting in June 2012. “# War” then led for five weeks beginning in August 2015.
“No. 1 means your message in the music is being spread widely and that’s the joy,” Jenkins tells Billboard. “In such a complex time in history, I am excited to write an uplifting song to remind people of God’s ability and faithfulness.”
